Volunteers from Sherwin Alumina, OxyChem and DuPont give presentations to schools and the general public on what to do if a dangerous chemical is ever accidentally spilled or released in their neighborhood.

Wally Wise helps explains to the children how they can protect themselves in the event of a chemical release. There are five steps to remember when Sheltering in Place, go inside, close and seal all doors and windows, turn off heaters and air conditioners and close fireplace dampers, listen to your radio or TV and wait for the all clear signal before you move outside.
The HazMan shows kids how emergency personnel dress in a time of chemical release.
