I. Call to Order:
The meeting was held in Sinton at the Backstreet Café in Sinton, Texas.
President Bob Blaschke called the meeting to order at 11:35 a.m.
II. Organizational Issues: Bob Blaschke said there are a few organizational issues. They are going with First Call for the Alert System and they got the contract. There were a few minor changes that needed to be made and he did sign the contract. The contract will be sent back to First Call along with a check as soon as the bank account is changed from IBC Bank to Frost Bank.
Bob said the LEPC Annual Calendar calls for election of Subcommittee Chairman and he proposes to keep the same chairman. He will bring this before the general members at the next meeting. Bob said at the January meeting they will set a date for the Budget workshop for sometimes in February. The Appreciation Dinner is always held in February as well.
Leroy Moody asked why law enforcement was not allowed in the gate at Sherwin Alumina during the incident where an outside contractor fell forty feet into caustic material. RJ Thomas said the EMS were not allowed inside as well. Bob said he will talk to Tom from Sherwin and find out why. Bob said they used to have good representation from Sherwin and OxyChem at the LEPC meetings and he hopes to get them coming regularly again.
Rickey McLester said HALO Flight just got another Bell aircraft which will be based in Alice. So they will have two aircrafts working twenty four hours day.
RJ Thomas said at the CBEMA meetings they are doing the planning for the Hurricane Conference that will be held in May. It will be another two day conference with classes and an exercise. This year they were expecting 200 participants but ended up having over 300 and he expects around 700 in May. Their next meeting will be on November 28th at the COG.
There was some other discussions on 911 outages at several locations due to software glitches, the three ex fire fighters who were settings fires in Ingleside and the GP Transport 18 wheeler accident.
III. Financial Report: Ski was not present, he is attending a Conference in Galveston. Bob Blaschke said there is $36,992.63 in the money account. There was not a motion to approve the financial report.

V. Adjourn: With no further business Bob Blaschke adjourned the meeting at 12:30 p.m.
